Phantom

The Phantom camera from Vision Research photographs much of the slow-motion cinematography seen today. The Phantom Flex shoot HD 1920×1080 at speeds of up to 2,570 FPS. Even higher frame rates can be captured at lower resolution. The Phantom Flex lives up to its name by working with a wide range of lenses in PL, Nikon F, Canon EOS, and B4 mounts. Slow-motion photography can produce amazing imagery. However, it has its difficulties as well. Super high frame rates can generate a huge amount of data. High-speed photography also requires much brighter light during production to make up for the reduced amount of time each frame is exposed. Considering these issues, it is important to work with a digital lab and color grading facility like Katabatic, which has years of experience with Phantom camera footage.
